Room was neat and check in was easy as the room was kept open. The common room was well stocked with breakfast items and was open throughout the day. On site parking was convenient. Family friendly and was quiet. Location was great as it was between Gisborne and woodend. Servo was 5 minutes drive which was handy. Highly recommend this place.

I think this place really delivered in terms of a simple stay elevated with great additional touches which make the trip so much easier. Lovely shared kitchen area great for having the included breakfast in the morning. Rooms are simple but well stocked and clean. Surpassed expectations and would recommend - great value. Thank you

The highlight for us was definitely the kitchen. Great barbecue area and very well stocked kitchen. The breakfast offerings were very generous and everything was spotlessly clean. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Had everything we needed, room, comfort and even a hit of basketball for the teenagers. Complementary breakfast was excellent, they went above and beyond to accommodate, with a large variety of choices.

The host was so accommodating in allowing us to check in early and so understanding when I broke a glass bottle 5 minutes into my stay! The bed was really comfortable and there were plenty of towels and other little things we needed. We enjoyed the self-service breakfast room and sunny garden area with picnic tables. A really nice, simple and comfortable country motel. We will stay here again if we come back to Macedon.

Room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, when needed assistance came down to us and helped us with the information we needed and was very supportive. Breakfast was in the camp kitchen with all the stuffs for the cooking and self-serve, it was well maintained.

It was clean, tidy, easy to find. Comfortable. Had some nice touches. Easter eggs, tea towel to wash cups, good selection of teas. I liked the camp kitchen and breakfast. Very good idea.
